Galaxy Tab is most wanted gadget

Samsung said it has marketed much more than 1 million Galaxy Tab devices in less than two months, repeating similar success in smartphone segment when its Galaxy S reached the same determine in less than a week following launch in August. Samsung's tablet runs on Android two.2 and includes a 1GHz processor, a 7-inch multi-touch display and dual cameras. The device was introduced in the U.S. marketplace in mid-November, virtually a month after its release in worldwide markets. Even so, it is behind the market chief Apple iPad which marketed 1 million models in 30 days in April, and has to date marketed a lot more than eight million devices. Sold in 3G variations, Galaxy Tab is sold at $399.99 within the US marketplace with a two-year service contract from major wireless providers or at $599.99 without it.
